I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Patagonia (New York, NY) in Sep 2015
Interview
The initial interview was a group interview (3 interviewees and 2 interviewers), and it was very casual - conversation oriented. Questions were a bit quirky, but were getting at how we understood what good customer service meant, and how we can think and enact creative solutions. After working there several months there was another interview to discuss staying on as a benefited associate. That interview was more 1on1 and was an extension of the first interivew, but more about what I thought I had done well as an associate, and why I wanted to keep working there.

Question 1
When did you experience good customer service, and what was good about it?
There were two group interviews that took place at the store. It was all very informal and friendly. The first interview was done by a floor lead, and the second round was conducted by the store's managers. None of the questions were difficult or unexpected.
It was a casual conversation to get to know me and see how I would fit in with the company culture. It was with the manager and assistant manager and took place at the store I applied for.

Question 1
What do you know about Patagonia's environmental work?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Patagonia (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
Weirdly cult like with a strong focus on the manager's unused law degree. There was an odd summer camp feel to the entire event with 50 other applicants playing trust building games
