Relatively straightforward - All of your answers are scored on a points based system. Nothing out of the ordinary was asked, past work experience, tell me about yourself, why are you leaving your current job, etc.
I interviewed at Paradise Beverages (New York, NY)
Interview
I interviewed around May of 2020. It was a brief phone interview with someone on the mainland. She asked me questions and was very rude about my answers. I've never experienced anything like it before. If you don't like an applicant's answers, don't hire them. This person was unprofessional and kept cutting me off to tell me why I was wrong for everything I said, and then told me I had to hurry to answer her additional questions because she only had a short amount of time for the call. I was not surprised to not get a call back, nor did I want one after being treated that way. Especially since she told me that if I couldn't handle her "criticism" and "advice" (which I viewed as unprofessional bullying) then I wouldn't be able to handle working for the person in charge of HR in Waipahu. On the plus side, I feel like I dodged a bullet and got a position as an HR Manager with a very professional company that does not foster a toxic work environment. Since then, I have told everyone I know that was looking for a job to stay away from Paradise Beverages.
