When I arrived to Panera Bread, I informed an employee that I was scheduled for an interview. I was offered free coffee while I waited for the manger. The manger came a few minutes later and brought me to the staff room upstairs. She asked for a copy of my resume and when I am available to work. The manger liked how I was free for a majority of the week. Panera Bread wants people who can work at least three times a week. During the interview process, I talked about my current job and how I can apply the skills I acquired there to Panera Bread. The manger also talked about what time employees come in for opening, what time they leave for closing and what time training starts. Employees have to take turns doing opening and closing. At the end of the interview, she asked me if I prefer to receive a text message or a call to schedule a second interview. Unfortunately, I had to turn down the second interview because I could not find a way to get to the bakery early in the morning.
It was super easy! I applied and got an interview with them within a day. The interview was conducted in person, and was very conversational. The interview only lasted about ten to fifteen minutes.
