Had a first round with the HR and senior engineer. End-to-end technical. It was a bad experience. TBH I was unable to understand half the English the senior engineer spoke. At one point I gave a wrong answer and he kept saying things like "If you cant understand this I dont know what to ask you". But I was like, "Dude I might be wrong but I'm not able to understand the sentences you're coining!"
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PageFreezer Software (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2022
Interview
HR initial interview
Live coding session
Culture fit interview
The HR representative was very nice and warming which made me excited about the company. The code session however was awkward, the developers barely introduced themselves before heading to the problem and I felt like they made no effort to make me feel comfortable. The culture interview was a total shift from that, people were communicative and welcoming, they asked me behavioral questions related to the company's values.

Question 1
technical: leetcode type of question
behavioral: tell me about a time you showed empathy to one of your colleagues
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PageFreezer Software (Vancouver, BC) in Sep 2021
Interview
3 steps process:
- 30mn HR call
- Project assignment
- 1h:15min technical interview followed by 30mins behavioral interview
the process in general was good, but what ruined the entire experience that they never give you a feedback, which make your application and effort worthless as you don't learn anything from it, I sent a follow up two weeks later too, and no response. I don't recommend it
