Interview
Felt a bit judgmental with the 2 people leading the interview. A bunch of questions on your stance on the US's diplomacy with MENA, including the Biden administration's stance and actions.

I applied online. I interviewed at POMED (Washington, DC) in Mar 2019
Interview
It was okay! Asked questions on interest in Middle East issues, low stress, over zoom. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. I was asked basic questions about myself, my background, my experience, then more specific questions for the role.

Question 1
They asked me why I think I would be a good fit for the job
Fairly straightforward interview. Was interviewed on the phone, and asked questions regarding foreign policy and my opinions. Interviews are done by current interns. There was some confusion, as they had told me I was being interviewed for a Policy Internship, but in reality I was interviewed for a Policy Internship and a Research Internship. Around a week later I was called in for an in person interview where we just discussed my resume.
