Interview
I remember this particular company being at the Career Fair at my University. The company looked like a promising and great company with opportunities for new grads. I applied to the Client Support Analyst with the Revenue Cycle Department, I thought this particular position was great as I was already working in Revenue Cycle. One of the recruiters for this position I had met already and was following on Linkedin, expressed to me that my background and skills were a match for this position. I thought the first red flag about this position is that this particular position was listed as Hybrid but only one day was remote which was Fridays which isn't really considered Hybrid or a benefit, but what was a major red flag is a competency/IQ test that applicants were required to take for this company, this overall made me impression of the company less, as companies who measures applicants on a competency test rather than skills, background, and knowledge are not great companies to work for especially companies who require you to be in office 4 days a week when really the particular position doesn't really require you to be in office, especially when the job lists itself as hybrid, it definitely seemed to be a company that micromanages and based on the reviews of this company, it seems true. The competency/IQ test had nothing to do with the job itself and was a very degrading way to access if a candidate can move to the next step in the interview process or in general. I'm very surprised I didn't move to the next step in the interview process as I had the background in Revenue Cycle and believed I answered every question right on the timed competency test, as I had a background in this particular position, also looks like this company mostly or only hires fresh new grads and students pursuing upper education.
