Worked through a recruiter, it was a quick interview and a lot of back and forth waiting for a status update. Ultimately, did not receive the position, however, it seemed like a lot of things were in transition and they were not looking to fill the role right away.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Onia (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
Highly disorganized. The office is one large open room and the owner was on the phone screaming to get his airline flight changed. It was the most awkward start to any interview I have ever been on. They told me they loved my work, asked my salary range. Then when I returned home, they emailed me again to say how much they liked my work, but asked for a much lower salary range. It was insulting.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Onia (New York, NY) in Jul 2020
Interview
Got offered the job 15 mins after my one interview (red flag #1). Owners were vaping the entire time with their feet up on the desk. Seemed they were extremely desperate to get just anyone in the door.
