My interview process from application to notice of rejection took almost 8 weeks. The process was incredibly slow, and I received two other job offers within that time. For example, I went through 4 rounds of interviews, and between the 3rd and 4th rounds, 2 weeks elapsed. Overall, this had the effect of dimming my enthusiasm for continuing on with the process. The long lag between interview rounds made it difficult to retain the information I had received in earlier interviews, and so it was hard to continue the conversation with continuity. Omada was also disorganized when it came to scheduling the interviews. For one interview, I was provided with a name and the person's discipline and department at Omada. I prepared for the interview with this information in mind. Someone entirely different came to the Zoom interview. He was in a different department and interviewed me on the market research I had done on the company, which I hadn’t prepared for. Throughout the laggy interview process, the recruiting team was unresponsive when I reached out for updates. On my final outreach, I tried to close the loop and withdraw my candidacy after I had received another offer. Instead, I never heard back and was sent an automated rejection email a few weeks later. I love the work Omada Health does, but I would not consider applying to this company in the near future, given its current interviewing practices.
