I applied online. I interviewed at Olive Garden Italian Restaurants in Apr 2021
Interview
Manager was quick to arrange an interview due to my past bartending experience. Explained that I would have to start as a server and gain enough positive customer reviews through their electronic payment system to qualify for the position and retain good reviews to keep the position. Said that most bartenders don't stay or choose to remain servers because the money is better. Had a second interview which was more the usual corporate questions like "How did you handle angry guests?" Again it was reiterated that the advertised bartender job was hard to get and keep. Was this a bait and switch or just informing of honest expectations? I guess I'll see ...
I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Olive Garden Italian Restaurants (Denver, CO) in Mar 2025
