The company cold-called me unexpectedly during the workday to conduct a phone interview. The questions were fairly standard but came rapid-fire with little context. They asked why I’d be a good fit, why I’m looking to leave my current role, what I know about the organization, and why I’m interested in joining now. They also asked about my working style (independent vs. collaborative) and my biggest weakness.

Question 1
Why are you interested in this role at this point in your career?
Good, and straight forward. Applied through the website and was contacted through an HR recruiter. Not clear if they were also connected to the program area, but pretty standard interview experience overall.
Great interview. It was professional and they asked thoughtful questions and gave plenty of time to collect your thoughts and share. It was enjoyable and very comfortable. The questions were applicable to the position.
