I applied in-person. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2012
Interview
Really easy interview. As long as you know something about cars and have good customer service, you are in. If you have sales experience, it is a plus. You know about car parts, that's a plus. You must have one or the other. Pretty hard to get in if you have neither. Just be yourself and sound confident.
