    Pros

good benefits, matching rrsp, flex hours and great office to work. there is a swimming pool facility in the building

    Cons

politics is too high. everyone is trying to save their neck and sometimes it just gets loud. the attrition rate is also too high.

    Advice to Management

/change the management. this one is no good. I am sure in the next 1 year they are going to drain out the cash

    I worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts part-time

    Pros

Very casual culture, usually. Work wasn't hard but a little mind numbing. Most of the positions I worked with will probably be replaced by machines within five years.

    Cons

No flexibility at all. I came in two minutes late once after working there for over a month and did had to have an in-person meeting over it. While I do appreciate the concern for good work habits, it made the relationship a little awkward in the future. Did not really seem like a place you could grow but rather slowly move up the ranks in your particular position until you maxed out after five or so years.

    Pros

Great pay incentives. Love my customers

    Cons

Horrible work experience management cares more about counting their money than helping the customer.

    Advice to Management

I feel that I am being singled out because of my handicap and management is trying to make me quit or build up a reason to let me go I am going to be written up for being a few minutes late for work after coming back to work after suffering a heart attack and the person that is going to write me up has been late for work every day since I have started working and then recently promoted to store manager I don’t understand how that is supposed to be a fair work environment and a bad message to send out to the rest of the personal

I have been working at O'Reilly Auto Parts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I think it's a great company to work for. Great staff to work with. Pretty good benefits period for the amount of different benefits you can choose to pick from or all if you want to it's your choice you pay for it if you choose it. And the medical is also great if you choose the right one for you. I've paid way more at other jobs with less coverage.

    Cons

I will admit you must have to be really amazing some way to get a raise cause since I started 4 months ago I have had all good reviews also got approved for managers passwords and keys to the store and alarm passwords. But still no raise I have also opend the store a few times but mostly close the store every night I work.

    Advice to Management

I don't think there is any to give them. They have fine management. It's who gives raises that needs to do something so that employees that have lasted and also excelled in the company would at least get paid right for the amount of responsibility they were given and is there loss of job if any said thing went wrong or happened while left in charge to close the store.

    Pros

They sell good parts at fair prices. Very customer-friendly.

    Cons

Working evenings & weekends so lousy family life.
    Manager expertise questionable.
They make promises to new hires that the can’t (or won’t) stand behind.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with potential employees and new hires. Don’t make promises you can’t keep. Do a little more training than the online videos that corporate provides. And if an employee makes a statement about a co-worker, get BOTH sides of the story before acting on it.
