I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Katy, TX) in Jul 2013
Interview
I had two interviews. The first one was with the manager. He asked general questions about myself and questions he had to ask. Ex: What are your strengths and weakness? You have to take a timed test to compare a set of letters and numbers and see if they match. The second interview was confirming the job and filling out paperwork.

Question 1
Gave me a general part. I had to explain other parts that associated with it.

Interview
The interview process was easy. The manager answered all my questions about company culture, I was assured I would have adequate training and plenty of support on the job. I was required to submit to a background screening and drug screning. These processes were easily accessible, not complicated, and took very little time
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Knoxville, TN) in Apr 2015
Interview
Application was online. Received a call back within a week from a store across town, but was understanding of wanting the shorter commute of the one closest to me and recommended I go down to them and ask about the application or give a brief call. I did so. There was a brief informal interview, a drug test, a background check including driving history for the delivery driver position, and in my case there was a second interview because my original hiring manager was terminated midway through the process. Started about a week later. Total time was about two weeks from application to start date because of interview two. Dress at least business casual. My first interview I wore a dress shirt and khaki pants and dress shoes. Second interview, a dressy plaid long sleeve shirt with khakis and dress shoes. Interviewing both times they mentioned that they appreciated that I dressed the part of someone looking for a job. Appearance matters.

Interview
You must put in your application through their website. It is then added into a local pool of applications. So, your first interview offer may not be from the store you'd prefer to work at. Once you complete the interview and sign any needed documents for permission for them to run your information including driving records, you must wait. I think I waited a week or two before I finally heard back and had an actual offer of employment. I'm not too sure how it worked out for other people, but post offer I had to interview two more times because of an issue with the original member of management that resulted in their termination. Overall, the interview process was easy. The worst part was the wait.
