I myself did not apply for this job,the senior HR said she shortlisted me...note this point shotlisted,so I asked them to send me the JD as I had an experience o of 2+ years,after going through the much lengthy and rather ambitious profile,I decided to give it a try,also I clarified to the HR that I hope that you had gone through my profile and that in your JD it says 4+ years experience and way advanced tasks,she was like its okay we will take it forward.Then I had a Telephonic round with two of the seniors and there also they asked me what my profile was,all the way I explained them what My job profile was,and then they shortlisted me for the next round,which was that they assigned a task and I delivered it in time.Then got a call from the HR that I am shorlisted for a face to face interview with the VP and the CEO,as I was staying away from vizag I asked them one weeks time and made it to the interview a week later. They made me wait and then was a brief round with a senior in the team,all the while I was asked over and over again about my skill sets and my current profile.Then came the last round with their Operations Head boy I was all excited! He again started off with the same profile screening,suddenly he realised my skill sets do not fit for the profile!!!! Hello dont you talk to your HR or the different seniors that took the interview about what made them shortlist me!!! To my horror they told me it was not an interview but a friendly chat and began asking me very personal stuff,even those were irrelavant to the job,also I showed signs of discomfort at these questions but the interviewer was keen to know them!!!!! I simply do not undestand ,its only an interview not that I am signing a life time servitude that you ask questions so personal. Top of that the Head of operations was suprised to see me there. This made me speach less and wonder what the level of communication goes with in the company. A sincere request please do not be in a rush and ask people to come down for interview.A piece of advise to all aspirants,please re assure they had gone through your profile well as they themselves are not sure if you match the skill set until their Senior managers tell them.
