Phone interview - general questions which includes background and role/salary expectations.
Manager interview - in-depth technical questions around past experiences, and future goals. Expect scenario-based questions.
Department head interview - feel conversational, more of a get-to-know-you session rather than an interview.

Question 1
Can you describe a time when you worked in a matrixed organization with multiple lines of reporting? How did you navigate priorities and communication across different stakeholders?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NorthStandard (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
Informal/formal first stage with hiring manager. Really friendly and thorough chat. More formal second stage with stakeholder - very interesting and another very warm and friendly chat. Felt very welcome, and as though each interviewer was very interested in me, my experience and my views. Refreshingly honest overview of challenges within the company and what we can see as opportunities.
