I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NorthShore University HealthSystem (Evanston, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
Long bureaucratic process. After countless online submissions, First a phone interview with HR. Passing that hurdle, Then a second interview 1:1 live with HR. Passing that hurdle, Then a panel interview with 6 simultaneously. Passing that hurdle, successful candidates are then placed into a "Parking Lot" to which you apply/interview for an actual position.
FYI…Found another management position at a different large health organization within a week of beginning interview process.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NorthShore University HealthSystem (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Was refereed to hr by colleague. Received a phone call the same day to schedule an interview. Call screen lasted about 10 min asking general questions. Came in for interview, they were very pleasant and provided a complete understanding of the entire hiring process from start to finish. All questions asked were generic behavioral questions. Refer to your experience and you should be fine.
