I interviewed at Norfolk County, Ontario (Norfolk County, ON)
Interview
The interview took about an hour with 6 behavioral questions primarily about leadership, collaboration, etc.
However, the process was probably among the worst i have seen in Municipal governenment. They went external to hire for a position where there was a leave of absence, which is uncommon at this level (you normally have someone cover internally). I was also disappointed with their refusal to provide feedback (which is standard in government and quite common at this level). Other than one sentence from a random HR person, nothing else was provided.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Norfolk County, Ontario (Simcoe, ON) in Jan 2012
Interview
Majority of interview questions are behavioural style with some technical questions depending on the type of job you are applying for. You may also need to do a personality/behaviour assessment online. I have been through the interview process 5 times and the interview panel consists of 2-4 managers. For the behaviour questions, they are looking for you to describe the situation, what you did and what the outcome was.
