I applied for this position on LinkedIn and was contacted two weeks later by the hiring manager for a 30 min interview . I was then given a take home assessment where no one followed up on verdict, until I reached out. It's normal for candidates to send follow up emails but there is no true point of contact here. You reach out to one person and get directed to another. However, I was still hopeful as I understand the growing pains of a startup.
I entered the last stage of interview and met with the hiring manager again, along w/ three other people in the company. Everyone was courteous and the interview was not at all awkward. At this point, I would have written a positive review (regardless of their decision) but they ghosted me. It's been three weeks since the final interview and no one has gotten back to my follow up email. Their LinkedIn page also seems to indicate someone had filled that role around the time I was interviewed.
Hire a recruiting coordinator, their job is to make sure the interview process runs smoothly. The hiring manager is seemingly not capable of this.
