Nexeo interview questions

First I had a phone screening and then a virtual interview. It was a waste of time!! At the end of the interview he said “it would be a risk to hire you because you could hate it and quit in a day since you’re new in your career.” Um, hiring anyone is a risk in the sense they could hate it and quit in a day. Maybe don’t make it a terrible place to work then if that’s what you’re scared of? I tried to explain that I’m only looking for longevity and jobs in my field, but he proceeded to talk over me. They saw on my resume I’m finishing my bachelors (and have experience) and I’m not sure why they took the time to interview me if that’s such an issue. Also unprofessional to call me a flight risk. I have stable employment history. They never even got back to me with an answer like they said. They’re still looking for a recruiter to this day, which they won’t find because they have severe bias during the interview.

The job I interviewed for was misrepresented as a technical writing position. The interviewer wasn’t prepared and had hardly any questions for me. It was one of the most unenthusiastic interviews and the interviewer had trouble answering basic questions about the position. When asked how much of my time would be spent working on technical writing, he said between 25-50%. The rest of the position involved manufacturing and equipment handling, something that was not listed on the job description sent to me. It was certainly an interesting job, but not what was advertised to me. Nexeo would have better luck getting qualified candidates for clients with more accurate job descriptions. As for Nexeo, they’ve been completely unresponsive after the interview took place and I gave them my feedback.
