I applied online. I interviewed at New Alternatives for Children
Interview
I applied for the social worker role for one department earlier in the year but they were urgently hiring and I didn't have my BSW just yet, let alone they really did wanted me and just wanted to hire me on the spot. A few months later in June, I applied for the Prevention Case Planner for a different department and the director reached out to me within the same day. Had a phone screening with them 2 days later and I later on got an interview a couple more days later. The whole process took a week and I didn't receive an offer after a 3 day wait. The interviewer was nice and there was a senior level case planner. They asked some pretty challenging questions but they just wanted to get to know your personality and see how you may thrive alongside them. Unfortunately, it looks like they are still trying to find a good candidate as they posted the same job a few times. You might as well just take someone who is willing to learn more on the job, but I guess they are being extremely selective so they don't risk getting sued or something, I don't know. How disappointing as I thought it went well for me. But, sometimes you're not meant for that specific company!
