Submit application on USABJOBS. There was no interview, I was selected without an interview. The whole process took over months and the transition was not the greatest. There was lack of support to transition from one location to another.

Basic federal govt. job application on "USAJOBS" website; then contact by local facility. A phone interview then done. Most frustrating part is after I was accepted it took more than four months to finally start.

Interviewed with nurse manager, department head and one staff nurse. Know where you are going. Hospital is confusing. The hiring process is extremely long. Don't give up hope though. Be persistent and it will all fall into place.
