I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Natixis (Paris) in Jun 2015
Interview
I was admittedly nervous when I interviewed with Natixis, a global mid-size investment bank. I had been laid off by my previous employer and was eager to get back to work as soon as possible. Kiyofumi Toriyama, my interviewer, really helped me out by talking about his own experiences interviewing with investment banks.
He explained how he had worked at five different banks in four different cities, and an interview is not the ultimate deciding factor in finding the right prospect. When he told me that I relaxed a bit, knowing that if I didn't have a great interview, it didn't mean I wouldn't have a chance. If I was the right person for the job, I would get the job with my merit and not necessarily my interviewing skills. It was a nice change of pace from other interviews I've had.

Interview
Two hour interview with the managers, started out with the usual background and personality questions, then consisted of a case study (analyzing a public company and deciding on the risk of a loan). Was given 1 hour to prepare the case, then had to give out my opinion on the loan and had an exchange with the managers along with some more technical questions.
