      San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at National University (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2013

      Interview

I met with 3 people which was very intimidating. They made me feel very comfortable. Only 1 person was in charge of the interview, the other 2 asked questions every now and again.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at National University (Fresno, CA) in Dec 2019

      Interview

I applied through Glassdoor and went to the university careers page and completed all the steps to apply. I received a email requesting a phone interview through their 3rd party HR support. The phone interview went well and they moved me forward to the onsite campus director over the fa dept. It took a week but I did get a call back for a inperson interview with the employee hiring board of 4 to 5 people. Which was another week away. That interview seemed to go well until the very end when at the last moment the director asked if I had worked for non profit college before, which I havent and that is one reason why I had applied for growth and personal learning. After 15 years in the Educational Student Financial field working my way up to a campus fa director I was pretty confident I could catch on to non profit versus for profit colleges. Well answered the question and I never heard back not even to say no thank you. I did notice that after he asked me that question that everyone seemed to roll their eyes at him. I feel like given the chance i could have been a real asset for the university but guess its just not in the cards

      Question 1

How do you handle a difficult student.
