      Graduate UX Designer Interview

      Nov 3, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Warwick, West Midlands, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at National Grid (Warwick, West Midlands, England)

      Interview

At least the initial interview was all conducted online via a link, no actual person but followed a structure. This was, a series of tests, including puzzle and sequence tests, then followed by questions to which you record your answers to, keeping answers short but concise.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Generalised questions, not particualry related to UX design. So things like if you had a tight deadline for a presentation based on a topic you weren't particulary found of, how would you go about completing this project/presentation and what would the results be? etc. Felt like I was completing an interview for Oxford or Harvard. Not even related to UX UI.
