I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at National Disability Institute (Washington, DC) in Sep 2024
Interview
I got called for an interview, 5 months after applying. It was a phone interview, which is very doable, but it was with 3 people. It's very challenging, accessibility-wise, to attend to 3 people I have never met before without visual cues. I asked about workplace culture and they told me that they are "trying to unlearn the habit of overworking." I wrote a thank you letter. I thought I was ghosted, but I did receive a form rejection letter from someone else at the org (not one of the interviewers), 10 weeks later.

Question 1
There were questions about how I use technology and how I manage projects. I don't remember the other questions. To my memory, there were no questions about how I prioritize accessibility, equity, or a disability forward culture. It would have been helpful to get the interview questions in advance.
