I applied in-person. I interviewed at National Coney Island
Interview
A friend told me they were hiring. So I went in, I submitted my application on the spot, and got a quick interview with the head waitress and one of the managers. It was a really smooth and easy process.
They asked me a bunch of questions about my history and what I have done in the industry. They asked about what I could do and what I expected from the job and what I needed to get done. They told me that I was a great fit for the job but told me I probably couldn't get the money that I was asking for
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at National Coney Island in Jun 2012
Interview
I was recommended. Never got an official interview. It was understood that I was being tried out on trial basis. As long as you learn the menu and ingredients, follow they're requirements regarding seating customers promptly and following protocol regarding orders as well as clocking out, there is no problem and you can generate fair income.
