The process took 2 days. I interviewed at National Children's Study (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2010
Interview
The first interview involved a skills test primarily geared toward simple math skills and common sense. Then we were interviewed by four or five of the staff. Each last 5 minutes and then we were moved to the next staff member. They gave us trial situations - i.e. if a participant was difficult, how would you respond. After this interview I was give a call with a week to schedule a 1:1 interview. This involved routine interview questions but allowed for a more intimate setting without the chaos of the first interview. I did not hear back for approximately 1 month which was unusual and nerve racking but I did get the job!
