Interview process took months, they expect a lot of preparation and interviews with multiple people on the panel for what is not a particularly senior role. Multiple rounds and then after getting to the final round just an auto reject email, lovely.
Friendly, informal.
Felt really comfortable and could have good back and forth conversation. Didn’t feel intimidating.
Questions felt really relevant and interviewer able to answer all my questions throughly too.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NatWest Boxed in Apr 2026
Interview
Th entire process has been a total mess. I did get both the 2nd and last round scheduled together after 2 weeks of trying to schedule me in and not sending over all the information. It took them 2 entire weeks just to give me a nonsense feedback: From some of the answers that were given, we got the impression that you saw your role as being able to facilitate an engineers ability to come up with good solutions. We would have liked to have seen some mention of a PO coming to the table with their own thoughts and ideas too! - like, dude I gave you the entire problem definition and solution from my previous experience, DESPITE is the engineers team that gives you the HOW. This is how agile works. The only reason why I've got it is cause I did ask talent team for an update as the main recruiter ghosted me. It was a final round with NATWEST and they ghost candidates after it, LITERALLY 3 FINALISTS AND 4 SECS PER EMAIL.
Because is NatWest I will reapply if happens, but if you have good alternatives, don't.
