An informal, non-technical chat with professor, asking you to talk about your relevant work experience, your philosophy about teaching, how confident you are about being a good TA etc etc. Master's students have a big disadvantage in competing with PhD level students for TA jobs, so they have to make better cases for themselves.

Applied in Spring. After passing initial screening, I had a one hour interview covering my background, expertise, and behavioral questions to assess cultural fit and technical capabilities. I answered the questions calmly and they followed up with 2nd degree questions which I was able to answer well
