Interview
Emailed several professors asking if he needed TAs. Replied fairly quickly probably because it was summer and got invited for an interview as soon as I was back in NYC. Interviewed in professor's office. Very easy questions. Got offered position as Grader on the next day even though I applied as a TA.

Interview
You applied to the art history department, you would get contacted by the professor if the professor found your application favorable, and the corresponding professor would speak with you about your interests and why you wanted to grade for the course. It was just a general conversation about art history, your experience, and what the class is about. As these positions are for graduate students, it's not the typical professional interview, though good practice.
