I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NRG Energy (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
A recruiter places you in touch with the managerial staff for a phone interview. Then you get the invite for the face to face meeting. The office is very 'boiler room' like. It reminds me of a fly by night marketing company.
You are then put in the interview box. it's very unaccommodating, uncomfortable and downright unprofessional. Expect the interview to last three to four hours. You will encounter extremely unprofessional, baby boomer type women who are used to make a judgement on your personality and likeability. They ask the same questions used in all business interviews, ID your strength's weaknesses, goals, challenges you completed, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"What makes you think you would be a good fit for the role" WTF ??? Do they research your actual history prior to the interview? Why would that even be a question if they've reviewed your qualifications and brought you in for the entire day.
