      Operations Manager Interview

      Feb 25, 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NHS (London, England) in Feb 2021

      Interview

Exhausting, time absorbing, bureaucratic, slow and waist of time. Application form was unclear. So many documents on the website with information for your application but never a document that bundled everything so I used maybe 5 different instruction forms and several info pages at the website. Had to fill in work history, evidence for previous skills and behaviours, Leadership behaviour example and a cover letter of max 1250 words. The skills/behaviours were in the job description and description of the ideal candidate, so you had to combine and filter these otherwise you needed to prove 20-30 skills/behaviours with evidence. Fun fact: they said in the explanation form: keep it short. How is that possible with everything they asked? The interview was cold and formal. No possibility to find out there's a personal match. Never In my live needed so much attention and time in one application. I thought I was used to time intensive applications since I applied and completed for several Graduate programmes years ago.
