I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at N26 (Berlin) in Feb 2018
Interview
Had a phone interview with a nice lady from People Dev, received a coding challenge which went well, followed by an onsite interview.
I went to the interview thinking that my experience with the tech mentioned in the job posting would be relevant but no actual questions from those areas were asked.
I received brief feedback after me asking for an outcome of the interview, and it was negative, although i think it was very biased. Although i do agree that our mutual interests were quite different, i do not appreciate that the interview was far from technical, and as an interviewer for similar positions in different companies, i have no idea how any of the interviewers could have made any decisions based on such interview. Overall some of the questions were completely out of place and context regarding the position, industry or scope.
One of the interviewers seemed like he was on Facebook, and the other one seemed like he was paying attention, but when i noticed myself i was rambling, it was completely clear he wasn't at all following.
