First the coding assignment was dumb. Write a game that animates dots falling on the screen. Does Indeed need game developers? Probably not. I wrote the game using OOP, an industry standard. I separated my code nicely to handle model and view changes to the various components on the page. They said I wrote too much code. My thinking is that they don't understand good design patterns. I invite you to try using Indeed for your job search. It sucks. They constantly match me with jobs that are out of state. I had to turn off their job alert it was so bad. I'm not sure how the company is doing so well. On the plus side the HR guy was very nice.
