When applying for this position, Morningstar proceeded with a traditional screening process. First there was an initial phone screening with an HR representative, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. The next step is an on-site interview for a technical interview and white board session. Before the phone interview, Morningstar requires a personality test and a technical writing sample.
I did not make it to the in person interview, but had a second phone interview to discuss some follow up questions. I never heard back from HR or the hiring manager afterwards, despite following up a week after the decision deadline.
