I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB in Nov 2015
Interview
This was a typical software engineering interview process starting with an initial behavioral phone screen with a recruiter. Then a technical screen with one straight-forward coding question in any language using a website similar to coderpad and 45-minutes to solve. My interviewer was rude, which threw me off. I ended up not moving forward in the process.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MongoDB in Sep 2020
Interview
1. Applied online as well as got an intern referral
2. 25 minute phone call interview with recruiter was very pleasant. Call was to gauge interest in the work MongoDB does.
Did not make it to final round. Communication was very clear and had a fast turnaround.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB (Melbourne) in Mar 2019
Interview
I applied online, a month later received an email for an informal phone interview (Behavioral). I was then booked into a technical interview with an engineer, that worked in a team close to my interests
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB (New York, NY)
Interview
Really good and well structured interview process. The recruiters replied within a day max if not sooner, the interviewers were all invested and did not come across as cocky. Other companies should really look at MongoDB's interview process to know what a good end to end process/pipeline looks like.
Process:
30 minute chat with a recruiter
1 Technical phone screen over a code share site like coder pad
