Was referred by a friend, but took over a month to be contacted by an internal recruiter. Internal recruiter did not have a great bedside manner, and was difficult to work with. I gave him my availability for an onsite and then he never responded to me - I just got an email to confirm my interview from a coordinator 12 hrs beforehand. Experience with recruiter really turned me off to them. Also, the job description changed 3 times throughout my process with them - they had no idea what they wanted!

I was asked very straight forward questions about how I would go about solving a specific problem (eg: how would I approach audience segmentation and communications for email marketing).

Similar to other reviews, my experience with the hiring team at MongoDB was very poor. The process started off poorly, the recruiter failed to show up, and sent an email after the scheduled interview time asking to reschedule. She never responded and communication was silent. Pretty disappointed at the team's approach as there is a significant investment in preparation and time. Although I didn't get to interview, I would hesitate in approaching them in the future due to this experience.

HR sent Linkedin email, chat with HR about the role, chat with Direct Manager about the role's responsibility, and then follow up with team member, region executive, and corp executive, and finally get the offer.
