I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Monarch Instrument (Amherst, NH) in Mar 2012
Interview
Saw their ad on Craigslist and emailed resume and cover letter. There was an initial telephone screening followed by a face to face two days later. Met with Support manager and Product/Sales manager for about one half hour each. Approximately 2 weeks later I contacted them by email since I had heard nothing from them. Got a phone call from HR manager asking me to come in for a second interview, two days later. Met with her and the two other individuals I had met during my first visit. Again a bout an hour in total.
Their website states "Monarch Instrument is one of the world’s largest suppliers of portable speed measurement products." They seemed to be a small company with small company benefits. I think we both realized that there was not a match since there was no contact after the second interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about an experience dealing with a particularly annoying customer and how did you deal with the situation.
There is a new HR Manager [since August 2016] and we strive to communicate as much as possible to candidates, especially those in the interview process. Being a small company, it is sometimes difficult to get schedules to align, or get feedback from hiring managers quickly, but we try not to keep people hanging in limbo.
