      Team Leader Interview

      Sep 9, 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boca Raton, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Molly Maid (Boca Raton, FL) in Feb 2012

      Interview

when I first was interviewed he seemed like a decent person. I was told 8.00 an hour and 21% commission for team leader. Plus you get bonuses for customers signing up and no cancellations. Sounded great. In may I asked for 4 days office to go to my family reunion in DE in August and he approved it. August 20th my daughter started school and the bus transportation gave me the wrong information on the bus she was going on and she was sent to the wrong school. I told my boss I had to pick her up take her to the right school and i would be back in time for my 2nd house. He said no dont come back take the whole day off. On the 27 we had tropical storm Issac here and there were tornado warnings. His wife text all the employees saying they were open but if we could not make it leave message at work. I called her directly and told her I didnt feel comfortable leaving my daughter home alone with the tornado warning (we live in an old mobile home) and she said dont worry take the day off. The following week was labor day weekend. We were off Monday. I ended up with the flu. Fever, sick to my stomach etc. I called in that tuesday left a message I would not be in. Wednesday I was still sick so I called again. Thursday I was sick but went to work anyway still with fever. This was the first time since I started in February that I called out sick. I got to work and was called in the office. I was told he was demoting me from team leader because I missed over 27 days which is a down right lie. He informed me that his job was more important then anything and everyone else including my child. he told me I had to sign a paper stating I agree with this and if I was to miss another day i would be terminated. He also said I was suppose to call and talk to someone directly in the office when calling out, No one does because you have to call an hour before they opened and no one is there. But anyway I refused to sign the paper and was fired. On friday afternoon my daughter and I went in to drop off uniforms and pick up paycheck. Now he wanted me to sign a paper stating I resigned. I told him no I didn't he fired me. He got real nasty in front of my daughter. I did not sign that paper either.
