Probably the worst and most unprofessional interview process I’ve experienced — the hiring process began with an extensive writing exercise followed by an initial call with a senior member. On this call I was told that they would be following up the next day with next steps (confirming I was passing the first round). A week went by and I did not hear back so I followed up — they apologized and mistakenly sent my info to the wrong hiring manager and to “stay tuned”. A week went by — no follow up still. I sent a second email to which I got a response *1 week* later for a next round.
For this particular round, the interviewer was 1) late, 2) disheveled and disorganized and 3) could not find my resume to discuss my background. She was visibly disinterested & disrespectful by her attention span. I was met with an immediate rejection afterwards with no response or feedback (after 1 month of investing into this company).
The lack of professionalism for candidates points to how they treat their internal employees - bullet dodged.
