I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mission Capital Advisors (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
Very straightforward interview process. I was screened over the phone and asked about my schoolwork and previous internship experience. I then met several members of the desk in the New York office.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mission Capital Advisors
Interview
Meet a few people including the owner. It went smoothly until I meet the owner. Asked inappropriate questions such as prior salary and asked what business clients my prior employer had. Also what business I can bring. Pretty much not what the posting was asking for of the role. They were fishing for market knowledge in my opinion and was not a real position. I’ve heard of these interviews. Owner was unprofessional and i’m happy it went nowhere
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Mission Capital Advisors (New York, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
The interview process is very friendly, not at all adversarial like I've had in the past. I was asked various questions about my work history, my general experience with technology, and what I do for fun. They're very interested in both a work/experience fit and a lifestyle/personality fit.
