Interview
The interview was via a video call. it was an easy process that started with clear and fast communication via email. I was given options for positions to apply for.
On site interview with two higher up employees and then a tour was given of the campus. The campus tour was standard but had no introductions to other members of the team. The official interview asked standard questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mirror Lake Recovery Center in Sep 2009
Interview
Was given directions and told it was a 45-60 minute drive before scheduling appointment. Job was explained in detail and generally honestly. Was asked how I would deal with numerous situations and disruptive people. Asked why I thought they would hire me. Looking for a dual diagnosis counselor. People from the court system including pre-prison enrolees.

I don't know if you can do this job-(tone was brusque and patronizing).
Told that people might have an issue with me because I was a foreigner and talked funny.
Can you be tough enough? These are people who are addicts and do not want to go to prison. Your decision can send them there. Could be argumentative, verbally abusive, physically threatening.
