      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Mind

      Interview

The interview process was not particularly difficult, but it was competitive because of the high calibre of the other candidates. It was also slightly longer than expected. The interview lasted one hour and consisted of eight questions. As part of the process, I was asked to create a portfolio and prepare a weekly content plan.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. Tell us about yourself and why you think you’re a good fit for this role. 2. Can you please talk us through one video and one static post in your content portfolio? What was the purpose and objective of these pieces of content? What was your creative process? What tools did you use to create? How did it perform? 3. Can you talk us through a campaign that you’ve led from start to finish? What was your approach? How did you ensure it met the objectives, and how did it perform? 4. Can you talk us through an Instagram and TikTok account that you’ve managed? And how do you manage competing priorities and requests alongside your BAU content 5. We will ask you a scenario-based question on how you would manage a brand reputational risk 6. Can you give us an example of a time you have collaborated with different stakeholders across an organisation to achieve a shared goal? What was your approach, and what was the outcome? Can you talk us through any learnings? 7. What would your approach be for telling the stories of people from our equity priority audiences, and how would you avoid extractive or tokenistic storytelling in practice?
