I applied through university. I interviewed at Miller's Senior Living Community
Interview
I believe that the process varies depending on how many people applied. I went in for an interview with the HR representative. My second interview was with two different groups of VPs and the COO.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Miller's Senior Living Community (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2009
Interview
The interview process was relatively easy. It was with the Community Relations Director and the Director. Fairly typical interview questions. They wanted to liven the program up so they asked about new ideas for trips and activities... Both of them went to the same college as I did so there was some small talk about that. As far as this job area, you must be an optimistic person that sincerely enjoys being with older adults. As far as the company...micro managing is prominent. Turnover is high in the nursing home/senior living area so be prepared to lose coworkers.... I can see how it might become boring. There's not a lot of room for advancement. I felt trapped. But anyway, as far as the interview it was overall a very pleasant experience.
