After submitting my CV on Indeed I received an email the next day for an initial chat via phone. It was an easy phone interview about my background and experience and why I applied for the role. After the phone interview, I was asked to perform a test, which was pretty easy. I was then asked to do a final stage, which was a 60-minute video call with the hiring manager for the role and another team member. I received an email 10 days after the final stage that said there was an unexpected change f direction in their international strategy and that as a result, the role was not available anymore. The entire process was easy and they communicated well with me, keeping me posted along the way, but still, it was a waste of my time. Also, I have been in touch offering freelance work, and after an initial response, they decided to completely ghost me.
