I went through a fairly structured interview process that included two calls with recruiters, two interviews with a product person and other team members, and a final live use case interview.
Two things stood out to me during this process. First, the recruiter was very insistent and proactive before each interview — following up and checking in — but suddenly stopped communicating after the final step. I followed up to ask for feedback but never heard back, which was surprising considering the frequent communication earlier in the process.
Second, I noticed a lack of clear product vision. Throughout the interviews, it felt like the product was guided more by management and internal processes rather than a clear north star or well-defined purpose. This became even more evident during the live use case interview.
