I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Miami Dade College in Sep 2021
Interview
Interviewer never showed up, and did not answer follow up emails. It seems unprofessional to me to make someone wait and wait, and to promise a "Great job" when they themselves lack the patience and time management to get anything done. This place is a mess.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Miami Dade College (Miami, FL) in Oct 2023
Interview
The process included one single interview with the director of the program I applied for, and her secretary. The interview questions were relatively straightforward, aimed at gauging my interests and motivations to teach, how my practical experience would translate to effective teaching in the classroom, and I was asked to simulate a teaching a session on any topic.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Miami Dade College (Miami, FL) in May 2012
Interview
Pleasant. Requested college transcripts and resume. Interview with faculty. The Department director asked about the years of experience and to explain why I was interested in teaching. I presented all my licenses and certifications. They requested all immunizations including flu vaccination.
