I applied online. I interviewed at MetTel (New York, NY) in Mar 2017
Interview
New York city location. 55 water street. Long wait for interview and 5 min interview with Hiring manager with initial LK. Basically rush me out and told me that I would be contacted the following week for a technical interview. When I email her back for feedback got no response to follow up or courtesy email back. Totally blew me off. Would not recommend this company to work for.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They made you fill out these long question surveys about what kind of individual you are and made you add up the numbers at the end for a final score. Total waste. one question was how would you act at a social event. choices were social, angry, stand alone or would not attend.

Interview
1) They make you fill out some weird / absurd questionnaire, tally the total score of your answers before the face-to-face interview.
2) After You print the above document, you are asked to wait in a room.
3) Technical Interview: Difference between EBGP and IBGP, Find Mac-add command on router, couple of layer 2 switching questions and done. Interviewer did not even mention his name, after taking my interview, he said your work experience seems a good fit and then asked me to wait for his senior.
4) Mr. Brian (Senior) took my interview for 30 mins, explaining about job role, what NOC timings are and If I will be ok with the NOC role or not (He asked me thrice and I said I am ready for any opportunity). Brain was energetic and gave out positive vibes about my interview (Almost as if I was needed for this role). He would then go on telling me about the shift schedule at their Homedel, NJ NOC. I was being treated as if they are soon going to give me an offer, but little did I know.
This morning I got a mail from HR saying 'You are not selected'. I was shocked ! It was such a good interview and this is what it turns out to be.
Conclusion: At MetTel, they simply waste your time. "All that glitters, is not gold" is what I truly experienced here. Also, it is now confirmed that the interview reviews about MetTel on Glassdoor are 100% correct. Overall a negative experience and sheer waste of time.
