Very easy. They asked a lot of basic questions about where you worked before, your experience in retail, and gave several different scenarios for you to respond to. The human resource manager did my interview. She was very friendly and easy to talk to.She is still the easiest person to talk to in the store if I have any problems whatsoever. She explained the hiring process very well and at the end of the interview she said she would contact me in a couple days. She did and that is when I got my job offer.

Asked about history of Menards, company info. Then was interviewed about strengths and weaknesses, as well as accomplishments, future goals. Very run of the mill.

Very simple and general so that prospects need not worry. This interview was for a stocker not corporate leader. Overall, it was typical and I would dust up on 10 typical questions most often asked around interviews.

The interview took place with the HR worker, and went over the basic questions related to a department store interview, experience, motivations, etc. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and ended with a drug test.
