      Sales Representative Interview

      Mar 5, 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MemoryBlue (Austin, TX) in Feb 2019

      Interview

Phone call with recruiter first, followed by an online assessment, then an in-person interview with two managers, and lastly a role-play interview. Received offer but ultimately declined. The base is a little lower than average for sales in Austin without a guarantee of making quota (adjusted monthly) after the first 90 days. Also when asking for clarity on the compensation the recruiter told me she'd have to "go to bat for me" to get those answers... clarity about compensation is pretty important.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

      1. How would your supervisor describe you? 2. Why sales? 3. If you could put someone on Mount Rushmore, who and why?

      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at MemoryBlue (Waltham, MA)

      Interview

The entire process was well organized, many steps but seemed reasonable. Second phase was with 2 hiring managers who asked basically the same questions. Most questions were behavioral. Questions were not too complicated.

      Sales Representative Interview

      Jun 26, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at MemoryBlue (London, England) in May 2025

      Interview

MemoryBlue put me through multiple rounds of interviews, gave me a verbal offer, then confirmed it — only to pull the offer out of nowhere while I was on my honeymoon. No apology, no explanation, just a cold, careless email saying the job was no longer mine. I turned down other great opportunities because I trusted them. That was a huge mistake. Their process is completely disorganized, and they clearly have no respect for people’s time, careers, or lives. This company plays with people’s futures. If you’re considering working here — don’t. If this is how they treat new hires before day one, imagine what it’s like on the inside. Avoid at all costs.

      Question 1

Congratulations you got the job offer, will you accept it?

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MemoryBlue (Boston, MA) in Dec 2024

      Interview

Many back and forth callas and zooms, pretty unorganized process but very informative. Took over two and a half months to complete full interview cycle. Would like to see a better pay rate but its entry level.
